Particularly shapely, stylish chair, 30s
Chairs with Viennese wickerwork in the backrest are available in a variety of designs - this is a particularly exclusive model with open armrests.
The sleek shape can certainly be traced back to a designer - but we know as little about him as we do about the manufacturer of this exceptionally elegant piece of jewelry.
Dark wood in combination with wickerwork and openwork patterned fabric - so far, everything is quite classic.
The shape of the frame, however, is unusual - note the low seat height\.you also sink in a little, which is why the chair certainly doesn't belong at the dining table.
Absolutely good vintage condition, the upholstery is in absolutely good condition, traces of use in the wood typical of the period
