Lovely piece of porcelain from the Dresden Donath & Co, Germany, estimated to be circa 1890.
This coffee pot is crafted from high quality porcelain in a period perfect form, complete with scalloped top/bottom edge and organic handles to the lid and pot. The decoration is perfect and pure Art Nouveau, featuring highly detailed, colorful pansy flowers contrasted against a green and iridescent purple ground. The extensive and rich gold glaze is thickly applied and super luxe, making the entire piece jewel-like.
Measures 6"x 3.5"x 8.75" (max dimensions, including handle, spout, etc). Condition is age/use appropriate excellent with minor handling wear, no chips or cracks. Signed Dresden to the base with the Donath gold flower mark. Undated.
