Early to mid 20th-Century Chinese glazed porcelain figurine. A figural depiction of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha molded as a young prince reclining upon a stylized lotus flower plinth. Handcrafted and painted with enamels in the famille rose palette and accented with gold embellishment. With fine geometric and other patterns to garment. Impressed maker's mark (Shanghai Xinbeimen Qin Xinagxing ) on base with chinese characters within a diamond, ca Republic period (1912-1949).
