Embedded with real silver and very eye catching. Murano silver pieces are on the rare side, as are large unicorns.
The measurements are about 10" H x 10" D x 3" W and it weighs 5.1#
Although there are no markings, I am 99% sure the Murano furnace that produced this is Cristalleria Santi. If you would like to further verify, I recommend you join the "Murano Glass/Italian Art Glass..." group on FB and search it for "Murano Unicorn" You will see other collectors discussing similar horses/unicorns found with that label and some signed by Santi.
I have only found one little "flaw", and unless you are really looking & feeling for it....you would not know.
If you zoom in on my last pic, you can see a very small sliver of glass missing toward bottom of the last mane piece. I have seen this exact thing before on a Murano horse of similar style, so I am wondering if it is due to the artist separating the pontil on the end.
But the base is near immaculate. Please let me know if you have any questions. less
