- Description
- 1970s Lucite icicle chandelier in two tiers. While most similar chandeliers are round in shape whether 2, 3 or 7 … more 1970s Lucite icicle chandelier in two tiers. While most similar chandeliers are round in shape whether 2, 3 or 7 tiered this one is rare and is eye shaped or oval with pointed tips. The top tier features 36 each 10" clear Lucite vertical triangular spokes that have a diagonally cut tip that come to a point. Each icicle spoke is easily hung on the tips of brass arms that have a semi hook located at the end of each rod. Small metal eyehooks are screwed into the top of each spoke making the assembly of the rods onto the frame very easy. The second or bottom tier repeats the same as the top except that it has 20 icicles that are 8" tall. While there is no definitive makers mark or signature found that this beautiful hanging light fixture is nearly identical if not inspired by the by designer Paolo Venini for Murano. less
