Born in Germany in 1835, George emmigrated to the US in 1855. He worked in his young life as a cabinet maker. His innovative approach to furniture production changed how turned frames were made. He is credited with machine production of twist turned wood, a process which was formerly a very labor intensive hand made process. This is an opportunity to own a piece of history. See less
