Kent Kapplinger is an emeritus professor of visual arts at North Dakota State University in Fargo where he taught printmaking, drawing and foundations for nearly 30 years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in art from Augustana University in 1977 and Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 1992.
In 2021, the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University opened “A Quiet Voice Heard: Retrospective of Kent Kapplinger.”
