Pair of Gerald Thurston for Lightolier Tripod Floor Lamps in Brass with off white diffuser shades. An iconic, very early 1950s, Gerald Thurston design for Lightolier. Being sold as a set of two (x2). Each floor lamp has three balanced and supported brass tubular legs with white perforated sheet metal cone diffusers. Standard sockets with turn switches, both were tested and work great. Sculptural and rare to find as an original set. Great condition for age - showing only minor wear to diffuser paint, one is near mint with only paint loss to the edge while the other shows additional paint loss to side of shade. Brass is in great condition showing no pitting and only minor surface scratches commensurate with age - please see photos and video. Missing one glide. Cords are intact.
