This attractive Danish Modern lounge chair was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig in the 1960s. It boasts a sleek and ergonomic design that looks great from every angle. The lounge chair has a solid beech frame with walnut tone finish, which beautifully complements the new upholstery. The chair was also has new rubber seat webbing, ensuring a comfortable and stable seat for decades to come. This chair is in very good vintage condition. The chair retains an emblem medallion from Selig affixed to the front stretcher, indicating its origins in Denmark
In the 1950s, Kofod Larsen was one of the best-selling Danish designers in the United States, and his design sensibility has stood the test of time. He is known for his clean, sculptural lines -- much like those on display in this spectacular lounge chair.
