Fantastic piece of glass produced by Venini of Murano, Italy. Based on the mark, this piece was made between 1946-1965.
A handmade classic of flattened form akin to a flask or decanter, this bottle features a mid-century modern, two-tone sommerso interior of orange and smoke colored glass. The exterior is finished with the inciso technique, where myriad lines are cut or "incised" into the surface creating a fine line texture or somewhat frosted appearance.
Measures 4.25"x 3.25"x 8.25". Small chip to foot edge (see photo). Bears three line acid stamp "Venini Murano Italia" to pontil, undated. less
