I bought them from a vintage store with high ambitions of using them, but they've been sitting in my cabinet for too long. They deserve to be displayed and enjoyed (shame on me!). These are handmade and have a cork stopper for filling, which you can see instead of it being hidden on the bottom. Each shaker has its respective letters (S and P) and has a corresponding number of holes traditional to shakers. I'm not 100% sure about the maker or the markings on the bottom. There is a mark in the pottery, and then it looks like someone also wrote on them. It's a mystery, but they're just darling to add to your kitchen or table - just don't hide them in a cabinet like I did! I feel like these say some town and "Germany" written on them, but I can't be certain. less
