I debated about getting him but knew I'd be crazy not to. It's a perfect size to hold just about anything: keys, jewelry, matchboxes, spare change, chocolates you don't want anyone else to find...etc. This seems to be in Raku style, but I'm not 100% certain. What I do know is that it's in great condition, as you can hopefully see in the various angles of the images.

The top and bottom halves come together to form the complete bird, and from the top, you can see his head - he looks a bit judgy, but he's actually just keeping the secret of what you're storing inside. Promise! It has the maker's signature, which looks like JMW91, but I could find no info on the web about this particular artist.
