This is an incredible solid mahogany mirror. I am guessing the age is sometime between the 1940s and the 1960s. The top is a pagoda with a line underneath of Greek Key. There is gorgeous open fretwork at either side bottom. There are decorative C Scrolls. This is such and elegant and interesting Chinese Chippendale mirror. It is marked S. Bache who was an early NY mirror manufacturer. This would be beautiful in an entry, over a mantle or for a bedroom. This is a more traditional mirror though it could be lacquered but that would be a shame as this is the original finish. This came from a beautiful waterfront home.
Condition: Solid and beautiful. No breaks. One small scrape shown.
