Zweifel is well known for his fanciful glass creations, such as the highly stylized feather design featured here. Zweifel's glass is highly regarded for his unique surface treatment, created by applying silver to molten glass through a specialized process that he developed. His work has been exhibited in galleries, art shows, and museums across the U.S. and abroad, including the Corning Museum of Glass, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Smithsonian, among others. The range of colors on this vase is fantastic and the shimmering iridescence is classic Zweifel. Just gorgeous! See less
