Abstract sculpture of brazed and blackened copper is three dimensional and may be viewed from all sides. Made in Orange County, CA in the 1960's. Laruccia (1929-2011) was a concert flautist who graduated from Berkeley in the late 1950's with a degree in organic chemistry. He began making oxyacetylene sculpture in the early 1960's, selling at Gump's in San Francisco and at a gallery in Palm Springs until the mid-70's.
Measures 14" tall x 11 1/4" wide x 7" deep. Good condition with pleasing surface. less
