Large antique wooden basin featuring a hand painted greyish-blue finish and comprised of wooden planks bound by double braided metal cable, which make the vessel able to hold water. Although these basins were originally used as foot baths, they also make wonderful planters for large orchid arrangements or catchalls in a kitchen, by a fireplace for kindling or for storing magazines in a rustic or farmhouse styled home.
