It is a modern reproduction by … Read more Italian made oxolite sculpture on black marble base of the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar. It is a modern reproduction by Italian sculptor A. Santini of the Chiaramonti Caesar, one of the only two accepted portraits of Julius Caesar which resides at the Vatican Museums. Oxolite is a compound used in Tuscany by A. Santini to reproduce original Carrara marble statues. Made of lime stone and marble dust and mixed with resin, it creates a very realistic Carrara marble. See less
