Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opal white and gold flecks Italian art glass vanity powder box / jewelry box. Attributed to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s, with an original but worn "Murano - Made In Italy" red scalloped label underneath. The opalescent glass is semi transparent, and catches the light wonderfully. It is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser, or curio cabinet. Mid-century era. The jar measures 4 7/8" tall x 3 7/8" wide.
