Framed in acrylic
Douglas Swan is an American painter born in 1930. He immerses himself in art at the Dundee College of Art in Scotland, then in London. Later, he discovered with great interest the Italian scene of contemporary art through artists such as Lucio Fontana, Enrico Castellani and Roberto Crippa. Installed in Switzerland in the 1960s, it became an important figure of the 20th century, and exhibited regularly.
The work presented is representative of the artist's work in the 1970s, as exhibited at the Reckermann gallery in Cologne in 1972. This piece has an attribution mark,
