An exceptional example of the iconic lacquered goat skin bar cart attributed to Aldo Tura. Made in Italy circa 1960.
There is typically a wide variance in the quality and appeal of the skins used in these pieces. This is one of the best we have seen. Incredibly rich texture and color. A true eye-catcher. Two-tiered shelving with lower bottle rack, side rails, and handles. The whole resting on covered casters. All the hardware is brass plated. Unmarked.
Good vintage condition. Light surface scratches to the lacquer, age/wear appropriate losses to the brass plating on the handles and side rails. Slight scuffing to one shelf. There is one small spot of loss to the lacquer at the edge to the upper shelf, as shown. The exposed skin remains in good condition.
