From the highest point of the Vršič Pass in Slovenia you can see this impressive mountain range in the south, which is reminiscent of the face of a "Golem" - according to an old legend, a mighty clay figure that was breathed into life by means of magical powers.
The Vršič Pass is the highest mountain pass in Slovenia that can be used by general motor vehicles and connects Kranjska Gora with the village of Trenta in the Soča Valle.
