The coral and blue colors are fantastic as a backdrop on the undyed natural wool field. Knotted on a wool foundation. This rug was in the work room of my supplier in Iran. When he was visiting the facility he asked why this Gabbeh had not been put on one of the containers for export. The Persians said “it just an old Gabbeh”. My supplier said load it on the next shipment! Gabbehs have become popular and the Hellicopter is something I haven’t seen on such a beautiful Gabbeh.
