A rare antique Amish wool lap robe or buggy blanket quilt comforter pieced into large squares. The squares of material are deeply entrenched in the colors of their world. Dark plain burgundy and blue squares. Knotted in the corners of the squares with thick black wool yarn. On the back is a magenta satiny type of material. This backing does have some flaws so please see pictures. In very nice condition after all these years. 69 inches by 50 inches. Please note all photos for they too are a part of our descriptions.
