The piece depicts Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona with several tall buttes by a placid river with lush greenery. It's painted in vibrant tones of terra cotta and umber juxtaposed to blues and greens. It is signed 'SUSS.' in the bottom right corner. It is presented in a gold and chartreuse painted wood frame with linen matte. The reverse includes a note about the piece painted from a Reader's Digest, and gifted to Layne Tadlock in 1981. A scenic piece for your collection!
