Own a piece of the West coast counterculture of the 1960s with this original work by influential artist and Gallery owner Annette Robyns.
Very detailed work of art, colored and embossed.
Numbered 6/25 and signed in pencil.
Annette Robyns (1914-1994) studied with Harry Shoulberg in Manhattan and at the New York School of Industrial Art, New York. She continued her studies in Paris as an apprentice to Fernand Leger. Then she moved to Los Angeles and opened a studio, soon establishing herself as a prominent West Coast Artist, Jeweler and Sculptor. Annette studied at the Otis Art Institute and at California State University where she received her Masters of Fine Arts degree. With her husband, actor Donald Elson, she founded the Elson Robyns Gallery on Fairfax, a moving force in the Los Angeles art scene during the memorable 60s. Her art is included in private and public collections.
