Rare original (3) piece panel set of silk tie dye art design by Carter Smith, c1974. Amazing work, these pieces are captivating, offering a multitude of beautiful colors.
Bio:
Carter Smith has been dyeing one of a kind fabrics since 1965. Originally working in silk, he created and sold individual stretched pieces and banners. Selling his hand dyed original fashions both nationally and internationally. Notables who own his creations include Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Fonda, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Goldie Hawn and many more.
Today, Carter Smith has over 250 original bias design concepts and creations.
