Cool and beautiful floor lamp handmade by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen in his own workshop in the 1960s. The brilliant design allows you to adjust the height simply by moving the brass rod up and down along the oakwood part of the base. The lamp is very nicely patinated and comes with a brand new shade in light flax linen. This lamp was only produced in the 1960s in very limited numbers and is therefore a rare find. Dane Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen (1913-2004) had a creative streak beyond the ordinary. He is known among vintage collectors, not least internationally, where the original lamps fetch high hammer blows at auctions. Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen drew sketches of everything. Envelopes, theater programs, even tram tickets. Some lamps remained sketches and ideas, others he brought to life, and thanks to a combination of creativity, talent and vision, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen has played a significant role in Danish lamp design. from the 50s onwards, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen took the lead in modern lighting, parallel to the heyday of Danish furniture art. As an authorized blacksmith, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen possessed both an experimental and well-balanced understanding of materials and created innovative, high-quality lamps with both an international and Nordic expression. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
