Stry is best known for coastal landscape painting. Stry worked in Provincetown and Truro from the 1930's to the 1950's.

The current diminutive painting depicts a lovely landscape with cottage and white picket fence with foliage and flowers in bloom. Painted in a palette of summer hues, the artist has masterfully captured the play between light and shadow. less
