A pair of vintage hand blown Venini Murano tiered sconces from the mid-20th century. This pair of exquisite Venini sconces was created on the famous glassblowing Murano Island. Boasting a tiered structure supported by a brass structure, the sconces presents a cascading effect that ravishes our eyes. Perfectly harmonious and reminding us of the extraordinary skills of the Murano craftsman, this midcentury Venini Murano glass pair of sconces will enliven any home beautifully, perhaps hung in a living room or dining room. It is wired for the U.S. and is ready to be hung.
In 1921 Venini and Cappellin opened a glass factory on the islands of Murano, the historic glass production center in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, under the name Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin Venini & C.
