Both bookends retain their original: Made in Italy labels, although one label is illegible due to age. These heavy bookends are a rare and hard to find vintage item, because of their unique design, size and weight. This design is popular among architects and scientists. Most likely, these were designed by renowned architect Angelo Mangiarotti.
