Linear and … Read more Simple materials but fantastic and unique design for these 4 chairs by Danish Manufacture. Truly magnificent in shape. Linear and clean design, but at the same time amazing for the combination of materials used.

The chair has a structure entirely in beech wood and is completely lacquered in black shellac. Its design is very linear, four tapered legs joined together by a central cross, accommodate a very thin seat covered with a striped green velvety fabric. The continuation of the rear legs join the backrest with a very particular design which gives the chair its true character; welcoming and with a soft line the backrest in the central part where it touches the back, and tapered in the final part where the elbows rest.

This manufacture is a flagship of Denmark in the second half of the last century; their work enhances the design of everyday objects. Wear consistent with age and use.
