The company specialized in creating alabaster light-objects. These lamps were assembled under a lisence by the lighting manufacturer josef brumberg sundern (jbs) for the german market during the 1970s. Jbs stands for the name of the founder ' josef brumberg ' and the company location in ' sundern ' where the company was founded in 1873.

each lamp features a halogen lamp socket. A minimalist brass rod-shaped fixture carries the thick-walled alabaster sphere. This piece has an attribution mark,
