Colombo prioritized practicality and the needs of the user, and these principles guided his design process. Colombo was convinced that functionality should come first, and the result was a complete focus on the user. Ahead of his time, he used the latest materials and technologies and many of his futuristic designs saw the light of day, and have become icons of the new way of living that is so widely appreciated today.The resulting chairs are both sturdy and comfortable, with a distinctive aesthetic.
