Abstract mixed media painting ‘La Nouvelle Orleans’ by Texas artist Jason Stallings. Acrylic, oil, and casein on canvas. Created to help promote an juried exhibition in 2008 to help rebuild homes in the New Orleans area following a series of storms as well as the fallout of Hurricane Katrina.
Primarily made up of earth tones with a series of muted reds, greens, and purples.
Stretched on a highly reinforced custom made stretcher frame by the artist.
Artist signature in the bottom right hand corner.
In excellent condition.
