Abstract mixed media painting by Texas Artist Jason Stallings. ‘NOLA’ was created in Dallas in 2014. This painting was inspired by the culture of New Orleans. Tho painting was mostly an exploration of iconography as it relates to the feel of an environment that was being influenced significantly by climate change.
The colors in this piece are primarily blue, yellow, with some warm tones in the middle. This painting is made up of acrylic and oil pastes. Also collaged paper used as well.
This painting has featured in group exhibitions, solo exhibitions, as well as in boutique shops.
Built on a custom made frame and stretched by the artist. 60” h x 72” w.
