This exquisite collection of 24 Fostoria Aspen pattern glassware encompasses a range of highball, double old fashioned, and wine stemware. The elegant stem pattern designated as 2861 adds a touch of sophistication to any gathering.
The esteemed Fostoria Glass Company, established in 1889 in Moundsville, West Virginia, has crafted an extensive array of glassware. Among their notable creations is the Aspen pattern, introduced in 1969. This timeless design showcases a series of vertical lines intersected by horizontal lines, resulting in a diamond band showcasing each glass blending modernity with enduring elegance.
Fostoria was a leading American glass manufacturer for decades, employing almost 1,000 people and receiving orders from all US presidents from Eisenhower to Reagan. In 1983, the Lancaster Colony company purchased the company, and in 1986, Fostoria went out of business.
