Abstract mixed media painting 'Dada Lovecats' by artist Jason Stallings. Created in Dallas, TX in 2021. Taking some influence from the Dada art movement, and pairs with the painting 'Futurist Pompeii' which takes influence from the Futurist art movement. This painting is somewhat influenced by a girlfriend of the artist at the time. The two discussed the humorous nature of including akward faces on rennesaunce cats as a running joke. The artist had wanted to create something a little more light hearted at the time. Includes acrylic, soft and oil pastels, and oil paints on various acrylic textire mediums. Primarily made of purples, blues, yellows, and reds.
