It came from an unbound portfolio of decorative designs, Album de la Decoration, that featured tapestries, ceramics, jewelry, etc. This design showcases " BIJOUX" , a collection of jewelry designs. The designs exemplify the organic forms typical of Art Nouveau where fine art fuses with natural forms that influence functionality and practicality. The designs are ornamental and beautifully unique. The chromolithograph is 9.5 by 13.25 inches in size. It is original to c1900 and NOT a recent reproduction. Original Art Nouveau lithographs have become very difficult to with the passage of time. This one is good antique condition. Please note the minor light tone blemish on right side of image photograph. It truly is a minor blemish when the image is seen in totality. Borders are pristine.
