Victorian platform rocking chair constructed of solid oak, having hand carved decorative details. The chair is American made, circa 1850-1890's, it is in good, clean ready to use condition, shows some signs age, as follows. There is an old repair at joint where arm rest meets the back support, the upholstery shows wear, and the finish shows some cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age.
