Round in shape with a wonderful parquetry top and apron. Inlaid with king wood and various fruitwoods. Ormolu detail to the top, legs and feet. The tapering legs are joined by a double curved stretcher which gives style and rigidity. Signed F. Linke as seen in pics on one of the leg bronzes. François Linke was one of the most well known and respected French cabinet makers of the 19th and early 20th century. Good overall condition with minor age wear. Recently waxed and polished. less
