Outstanding antique ships wheel that has been mounted onto. turned spindles, solid brass hub with a thick wood base in the form of ships decking. The wheel has been meticulously restored. The wheel has twelve turned spindles. Solid brass hub with turned mahogany cap and heavy brass band. The half inch tempered glass top has a hole in the center exposing the hub. The binnacle base has a hinged door and is fastened to the decking with brass bolts. Wheel is Circa 1890. The ships wheel is fitted with a ball bearing turntable
