Gorgeous frosted crystal stems and clear bowls are mouth blown and handmade in France by Bayel. The toasting chime from these fine crystal goblets sounds sublime. Bayel, in the Champagne region of France, was an important center for making glass from the Middle Ages. It became famous for its high quality crystal glasswares in the seventeenth century. Many of the processes of manufacture have changed little since the eighteenth century. less
