Dimensions: 96 ½” H x 71 ⅛” W x 18 ⅛” D
A statement French bibliotheque in the Louis XVI style made of richly toned mahogany and brass details. This case piece is topped with a domed or "bonnet" pediment above the center and four decorative urn finials extending above the fluted columns to mark the bibliotheque into three sections. The three doors open to an undivided interior with 4 adjustable shelves at 12 ¼”deep. The glass panes are all original and there are three working locks sharing a key between them. Short, turned feet elevate the case from the floor giving it a sense of lightness in spite of the grand scale. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax this cabinet is ready for your interior. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at all the regal features of this antique bibliotheque.
