Vintage Murano Attributed Pear and Peach/Apple Fruit Sommerso Bullicante Bookends-Mid Century Modern Blue & Turquoise-Mint Condition-Produced sometime in the 1950's/1960's While they are unmarked, they are easily attributed as an Alfredo Barbini design.
The condition, shine, and color saturation are a WOW on this set! The pear is 6" tall x 3.5" in diameter and weighs 2.6# The apple/peach is 3.7" tall x 4" in diameter and weighs 2.3#
The only wear I can is on the base of both. Shallow scratching and pin pricks in the center of the pear and shallow scratches on the base of the peach/apple. I don't even see flea bites around the bottom edges. This, accompanied with no damage to the leaves or stems is very rare. Please note that I am a Murano collector and experienced glass shipper.
