The Equestrienne, a chic and classic image of an Irish Hunter and vintage side saddle.

For centuries the art of riding side saddle, to ride aside, has been the epitome of equestrian style, tradition and sophistication.

From an historical perspective, it was more than just about fashion and appearances. The side saddle gave a sense of empowerment to women, requiring great skill and courage. It certainly levelled the playing field of equestrian sports when it came to whatever a man could do .. well so could a woman, only she did it with tremendous poise and flair .. and she just happened to look pretty fabulous while doing it too!

Artwork Details:

All of Amrita's works are produced by a specialist fine art printer in London. The works are giclée printed to exhibition standards on museum grade Hahnemühle fine art cotton paper 310gsm, using archival pigment inks.

Each piece is hand signed and numbered on the front with a minimum of a one inch border.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be placed with the artwork in the shipment. The document will contain details of the work for the collector’s reference.
