Artist Bio: Gina Stepaniuk
Born Toronto, Canada, she lived and worked in Los Angeles, California through 2017. A world traveler and adventurer in 2018 she moved her studio to Lucca, Italy, near Florence!
Gina Stepaniuk is an Associate of Ontario College of Art and Design Universit
(OCAD), Toronto, Canada, a Master of Fine Arts from Claremont Graduate
University, (CGU), Claremont California. Ms Stepaniuk received the 2009 CGU
President’s Art Award for Excellence in painting for Sometimes I Can’t Help
Seeing All the Way Through currently in the CGU permanent collection. In 2009,
Ms. Stepaniuk was nominated by the CGU faculty for the Joan Mitchell
Foundation Grant in Painting. Ms Stepaniuk is a reciepiant of the C.E. and Bertha
M. Harsh Endowed Fellowship.
Ms. Stepaniuk’s recent exhibitions include, solo exhibitions: New Views: Planet
