The frame is in impeccable … more An exquisite antique gesso on intricately hand carved wood picture frame in the Rococo style. The frame is in impeccable condition without any chips or cracks on the gesso substrate or the original carved wood. The original antique frame has been painstakingly re-gilded with a thick layer of 24 K gold leaf. The insert with the oval window appears to be a later addition to the original antique frame. Measurements are: 29" X 25-1/2" outside; 22" X 19-1/2 inside. less
