The frame is solid hardwood with mortise & tenon joinery. A very subtle hand painted fruit design on front & back of chair. Brass Foot Rail. The wonderful artichoke upholstery is worn in the front of each chair seat as shown in the photos. It is possible that a good upholsterer might be able to restitch the front of each chair. The seats pop out for easy reupholstery. Nice wide seat, very comfortable. French Country, Traditional & Farmhouse Style. less
