17" x 13" color painting by NICKOLAS TAKIS of a beachscape with figure. This is a mixed media work on heavy paper. It was blocked out for framing as seen by the frame lines. There is mounting tape on the back. The scene is a female in a bathing suit walking on a dirt road toward some beach "Cabanas" and a shoreline. Takis was from the New York City metro area and this could be on Long Island or the Connecticut shore. Nicely executed. 1940s - 1950s era.
