Artist unknown. Lovingly carved with a high degree of skill and boasting a very attractive limed finish. It comes with a separate solid wood stand in a limed finish as well, though the woods are different. It's beautiful. And very original. Hard to classify or even date.
The statue itself measures 37 1/2"" tall x 9 5/8" x 9 5/8" and the accompanying plain base, which is technically shaped as a square prism, meaning it is a cuboid with four rectangular faces and two square ones, measures 26 1/4" tall x 11 3/8" x 11 3/8".
The total height of the figure placed on its base is 63 3/4", or just under 5 feet 5".
